Is your KYC still 'Validated'? Quick check to avoid transaction freezes
Investors whose KYC is 'Registered' but not 'Validated' can face restrictions when switching or investing in new AMCs. Here's a 2-minute check.
Post the KRA rework of 2024, KYC status can now show as Registered, Verified, or Validated. Only Validated allows seamless investment across every AMC without extra paperwork.
How to check in 2 minutes
- Visit any KRA website (CVLKRA, CAMSKRA, NDML, or KARVY).
- Enter your PAN.
- Look at the current status.
If it's not "Validated"
- Complete a fresh KYC using an Aadhaar-based OTP flow on any KRA or AMC website — takes 5 minutes.
- Once validated, it applies across all AMCs.
